Daily Journal February 22, 1998, William Thomas Thompson. Let it be clear that the power I speak of is spiritual but real, power in the Holy Spirit, not power in any man or woman. The cult has no power other than evil influence we see growing everyday in the church and in the retreats around the country. Remember Jesus said that "Many will come in my name" (claiming to be the Christ). The true church is a reality in the hearts of the people, when one departs from truth, them its time to depart from company, especially when someone is self-serving with homemade gospel. "We are not our own, we have been bought with a price" The blood of Jesus who paid the price of our salvation. We are (I am) servant to the living God! my faith and hope is in Him! No man holds the key to my life eternal, I communicate directly with God. We need no pastor or priest to pray for us, we can contact God directly. When you pray yourself, you know its done. I do my own praying and I know it’s done. I am responsible for myself but I also pray for others. Do we know what a real Christian life is like to live? Today I will continue the Scripture, Matthew 24-10"And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11-And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12-And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13-But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14-And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the entire world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." Meaning that those that do not compromise with the worlds system, but endure to the end will be saved. "God's mercy will not always endure with man" Many occults have risen in the land to claim power and have mind power over people that are weak in faith and need a hand. How can we know the right from the wrong, those that serve Satan and know not God. Many mimic religions especially true religion but few have the real thing. Where ever the symbols of Satan appear, I stay clear. We can recognize evil signs such as the serpent that appears to often, represent wisdom. This symbol dates back to the Garden of Eden where that old serpent with his great wisdom sure deceived Eve to sin by eating the forbidden fruit. Maybe my problem is also eating forbidden fruit. I ate a peach yesterday and it made my hands and feet more numb. I experience immediate numbness when eating sweet foods with refined sugar and to some degree when I eat fruit that all has some natural sugar (fructose). This morning I had a delicious orange to keep up my daily needed supply of vitamin C, I feel then a 10 percent increase in numbness in my fingers more than if I had eaten a white half grapefruit. Get self right and the entire world will be right. Let us pray, Dear Lord, give us this day wisdom and knowledge. May we serve you and put you first in every minute of our lives. May we recognize truth according to thy word and reject evil as is. Strengthen our faith and endurance, to love and serve you boldly in all time and places. May we never be ashamed to witness to one and to all of the saving power of Jesus Christ. Give us joy in our hearts today and peace, thy peace that passes all understanding. Praise thy Holy Name, Thank you Jesus for being a chosen one. (Broccoli is easy to eat raw, I hope for organic grown) I name broccoli as my food of today along with other foods.
